Burley Aquatic Developments is a family run professional business, headed by Steve Burley, which began in 2002. In recent years both Steve’s sons Zachary and Lloyd have joined the business. Steve already had 20 years of extensive background regarding all things fishy before going to Sparsholt College, Hampshire as a mature student where he earned amongst other things, a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Aquaculture & Fisheries Management. He then went on and lectured at Sparsholt College himself for 2 years covering specialist options such as Freshwater Ecosystems and Fishery Creation & Management. Steve is a Member of the Institute of Fisheries Management and a Member of the Coarse Fish Trade Association and also a member of English Carp Heritage Organisation.
Steve’s background also includes being a professionally trained complex logistics and special projects director; he now puts these skills to good use for the benefit of his clients. No job is too small or too large or too complicated and Steve is able to call in a specialist team of like-minded and professionally qualified operators to assist if needed and complete the work to satisfaction.
