| This particular
strain (on the right) of fish are beautiful pure bred English mirrors,
linears and fully-scaled. They are not only gorgeous looking fish
but they also have superb growth rates (growth trial tested at Sparsholt
College where I lecture on Freshwater Ecosystems, Fishery Creation
and Management). |

| We are able to grow these fish faster than any stock pond whilst also maximising survival rate i.e. no predators, perfect water quality all year round and top food. These fish are for sale from day one or can potentially be contract grown to customers' requirements. | Strain

are now monopolizing on that fast growth rate by bringing on 500 fish
at a time in large indoor re-circulation systems whereby growth can
be maximised and maintained throughout the whole year. |

| I have since unearthed their whole history including who introduced them, when and at what size etc. I am pleased that these fish are also English and I now have a good selection of them growing on in indoor swimming pool-sized re-circulation systems. They have put on great weight this year with several already at 20lb+. These fish are young, well-proportioned sparsely scaled mirrors; some with star-burst scales on the wrist section. | |||||||||
